Testing physical notebooks
My brains are weird. I used to be interested in all kinds of e-ink devices.. But here I am very excited about physical, paper notebook.
As much as I like my reMarkable 2 tablet, it's rather big and takes bunch of space on my desk.
Opening it is always a bit cumbersome. I have to click a button, look for the right file if it's not open yet, start writing.. oh oops, I pressed something. Oh there's an update. And so on.
Paper notebook I just.. Open. Click the pen. Start writing. It's small so it wont take much space.
I dunno why this is the cool thing to me now. I wonder how long it'll be until I get bored of this and go back to e-ink.
My brains just love trying different things when it comes to organizing my life. I suppose it's some form of procrastination.
But one thing I really like about the physical notebook is that I can leave it behind to whoever in future will find it and they can go "oh they were so stupid back in 2000s."
But yeah lets see how long I stick with this. Although if I can find e-ink notebook that is also small, doesnt cost arm and leg, and doesn't send all the shit I write to some "AI" like reMarkable seems to advertise now, I'll be very likely testing that out.
But for drawing random doodles and using it as a simple tablet for reading, I'll keep the reMarkable for now. See how much I actually use it.
