Aks Plays EVE, Part 1
Start of my series "Aks Plays EVE" where I just post some things I did in the online spaceship game.
I do these small posts on fedi every now and then, but began to feel like I should do these on my site instead. So, here you go! I just copypaste my old posts here for now but in future I will be writing them here first.
And, I gotta say, it's nice to play more EVE again. It feeds my brains on another level. I will never be "good" at the game but I'm having a good time.

Another day, another ship lost. My Thrasher Fleet Issue got exploded in very tight fight against an Algos. Algos have drones on top of turrets, so they do a lot of damage. It was a DPS race and right at the end, my guns burned and melted so I couldn't shoot anymore. Oops. They had like 5% hull left, lol.
Then another fight, I took my Cormorant Navy Issue and found another Thrasher. Usually I am bit wary since Thrashers are pretty good allrounders especially at brawling, but I managed to break their targeting a bit and then melt them down.
I think I'll try to fly more Cormorants again, they're fun ships.

Rest in Pieces, Caracool 🫡
Went down fighting alone against 5, got one of them down before explodey.
That ship ended up destroying more than it was worth itself, which is rarity for me heh.

Spent some hours flying in EVE again, using classic Caracal RLML PVP fit.
Won a 2v1 situation, which rarely happens. I was very close to explode myself because the slow reload time of rapid light-missile launchers, but managed to do it in time, so the Wolf pilot didn't get to escape in time.
Pretty happy about this one!

Today's lil EVE roaming after long period of playing other games (Elite Dangerous namely):
Warped around for like 10 minutes in lowsec, exploded this guy:
Then warped some more, and got exploded:
That fight was really nice, hectic.
gf gf, more whenever I feel like it.

Today's EVE tally:
Got couple kills, first one was against artillery ship that I managed to fly close enough to completely decimate with my brawly ship.
Then I just picked out this missile boat:
And lastly I had a good fight against another long range ship but I piloted a bit wrong. I could have gotten under their guns too but panicked and piloted badly. Ah well, 2 kills with one ship is already plenty for me.
